Resolving to NOT set resolutions, but rather to practice intentional thinking, surrender and have faith.

Happy New Year! I launched this blog in December with great plans and content in mind, but then sickness fell upon our home. Needless to say, I didn’t feel up to sharing my Christmas joy with anyone then. LOL

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season, spent time with loved ones, laughed A LOT, and found joy in every little thing. I know I did! I’m thrilled to write that I’m sharing this blog from my NEW Dell desktop! The screen is so much bigger than my laptop! I can see! Santa was good to me. 🙂

My youngest daughter gifted me with some books from my Amazon book list. I’m kicking this year into high gear with reading some super self-help books. I’m hoping to start a local self-help book club, too. Having people to talk to while you’re on a new-you journey is always good.

I just finished reading “You are a Badass: How to Stop Doubting Your Greatness and Start Living an Awesome Life” by Jen Sincero. Great book!  As you can see, I’ve marked a page or two. LOL Sincero encourages readers to believe in things “not-yet-seen,” to “believe that we live in a world of limitless possibilities,” to surrender control and, most of all, love themselves.

I have a whole PILE of books to get through, and I’m sure I’ll add more. Just two days ago, I started “The Desire Map: A Guide to Creating Goals with Soul” by Danielle LaPorte. I’m really enjoying this book. LaPorte talks about finding our TRUE desires, and getting clear on how we want to really feel in our lives. The second part of the book is a workbook that I’m looking forward to delving into. Danielle is offering a FREE digital bundle download!  Check it out!

This year I’m focusing more on letting go, having faith that everything I want will come to me, staying positive, loving myself and enjoying every moment of this wild ride I call my life.

I’d love to hear what books you’re reading, or plan to read! Below is a picture of just a few of the  books in my pile to read.

Thanks for stopping by! Until next time, fill your life with love and laughter and find joy in the little things.
